I work as a Senior Fellow at Swarthmore College, focusing on social innovation and systems thinking. For 3.5 years prior, I worked at Ashoka U, the university-focused startup within the social entrepreneurship pioneer Ashoka, working with over 45 colleges and universities in ten countries, including the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, and Australia.

I lived in Washington D.C. from 2016 until my move to Philadelphia in August 2019, where I am currently based. In the past, I’ve been a part of British Council’s Global Changemakers network and the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Next Generation. I have consulted for, among others, an Oxfam Novib and IKEA Foundation-funded project called Empower Youth for Work (helping set up rural hubs in Bangladesh and Pakistan) and a European Commission-funded project called BRiCE. I studied economics at Swarthmore College in the United States, and currently pursuing my Master’s degree at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.

I grew up in Nepal, where I travel at least once a year. I work closely with the National Innovation Center team — including its founder Mahabir Pun. Back in 2011, I was part of a small team of teenagers to host TEDxKathmandu, Nepal’s first TED-inspired event.
